[HE PROBABLY TRIED TO FIND YIN YU ON SATURDAY but anyway, here they are! Yasusada will try to find him again, presumably in the garden??? It's a nice place to be.]
on sunday, he's a little easier to reach. yin yu's sitting in one of the small seating areas when yasusada finds him, in front of a small bush of purple flowers. despite it being the garden, there's a little bit of smoke coming from in front of him--when yasusada gets close enough, he'll see a tiny, well maintained fire, and a cup full of water, as well as a small stack of brightly colored paper resting on his knee.
it's not raining so hard to immediately extinguish the flame, and as yin yu hears his name called, he glances up. he's masked, today. ] ...Yasusada. [ and gives a small bow of his head. ] I'm alright. [ as alright as you can be, anyway. ] What are you doing out here?
[The rain doesn't seem to bother him; he comes over, crouching down beside Yin Yu and looking at him. It's a little bit curious, but mostly he looks... kind of tired. It's been a long weekend.]
I was looking for you. I couldn't find you yesterday.
[Yin Yu tends to focus on other people, but Yasusada, for all his obliviousness, isn't stupid. He's spent enough time to know what it means, when someone never talks about themselves. None of them are handling this situation well, but it's hitting some of them harder than others.]
...We failed, this week.
[Last week, they could at least say they tried their best, with the evidence they thought they had. But this time, they failed. There's no other word for it. He doesn't sound devastated, but he certainly doesn't sound happy about it.]
[Yasusada looks at him for a moment, his gaze heavy and serious.]
It's okay to be upset, Yu-kun. [This isn't what he came to talk about, but he's never had a filter for what he says.] We all are. No one will think you aren't strong if you want to cry.
w2 sunday

[ yin yu says, immediately, the statement heavy. they failed completely and utterly--failed hikage, and failed guy, too, in the process.
his voice is calm as ever, hiding any sort of emotion of his own, beyond that. ] ...it's over, now. All we can do is keep trying to move forward.
